Brakes

Your brakes are the most important safety-critical system fitted to your vehicle and it’s essential that they are inspected regularly to ensure they remain in good working order.

At Birway we can replace the brakes on any make or model of vehicle and have access to widest possible selection of brakes, regardless of shape and size, as well as brake parts  including pads, discs, drums, shoes, calipers, cylinders, hoses and cables.

Identifying problems

If you notice any of the following you should have your brakes checked immediately  to find out whether any components need replacing:

  • If your brake warning light comes on
  • If your ABS warning light comes on
  • If your brakes make a grinding noise
  • If your brakes feel too hard or too spongy
  • If your vehicle pulls to the left or right when braking
  • If you can hear unusual noises when you brake
  • If your steering wheel vibrates when slowing
  • If your vehicle suffers from a loss of brake fluid

These may be the tell-tale signs of the gradual deterioration that occurs over time, within a vehicle’s braking system.

We offer a full brake inspection FREE of charge and if any work is needed we will give you a no obligation quotation.
