Regular maintenance is key to keeping your air conditioning system functioning as intended. Here are some common reasons why your AC might not be working properly.

Why Should You Have an Air Conditioning Clean and Recharge at the Same Time?

Regularly recharging your car’s air conditioning system is essential to maintain its optimal performance. However, if you haven’t had your air conditioning system cleaned recently, it might be due for a treatment to address bacterial buildup. Our anti-bacterial solution can prevent such issues effectively.

Bacteria in your air conditioning system can cause unpleasant odors to emanate from the vents when the system is running. By scheduling both a clean and a recharge at the same time, you can ensure your air conditioning system provides cool, fresh-smelling air, enhancing your driving experience.

How Often Should I Get a Recharge and Anti-Bacterial Treatment?

Most vehicle manufacturers recommend having your air conditioning system checked and recharged once your vehicle is two years old, followed by annual recharges. This ensures that the refrigerant gas is at the optimal level for peak performance.

While there is no specific schedule for anti-bacterial treatments, they are often needed if the air conditioning system hasn’t been used for a long period or if there are unpleasant odors coming from the vents. Typically, these treatments are done in conjunction with a recharge.

In general, if your air conditioning produces an unpleasant smell, it is likely due to bacterial buildup in the system. This indicates that it’s time for an anti-bacterial treatment to restore fresh, clean air.
